I hope to see the team firing on all cylinders. Obviously goal #1 is to win, but more reps in the passing game will help us in the long run. We have the potential to be really special this year with the way the offense is coming together and a physical defense. Alton is a game changer and has to be accounted for by the other defense. Our achilles heak right now for me has to be the pass defense and open field tackling. If we can shore that up then watch out. Go Mavs!

This game shouldn't be close but we need to get our defense figured out. We looked good against jt in the first game, but the defense has been swiss cheese the last two weeks. Longview ran the ball down our throats and passed good enough but Lee was slinging the ball all over the field. That's bad news when you have teams like texarkana and whitehouse throwing the ball all over the place. This game should be over by halftime and the bench should get plenty of playing time.
