Will Marshall switch to the Wing T? Is this a good thing? Will we be one dimensional now? Who will be our quarterback this season?

I don't think this is the Wing-T you are thinking about.... this isn't a 1990's John Tyler brand of the wing T. It's much more flexible and less one dimensional as it was with them.
Cuero had a 2000 yard passer last season in this version of the Wing T.
TBH....I'm thrilled at the possibility of having the QB under center again. It drives me absolutely nuts when you have third and 1 of fourth and inches and the offense is still in a shotgun formation. Makes absolutely no sense at all.... you're giving up 5 yards (or more) on the snap alone. Makes me crazy.
Everything I'm hearing is about how diverse this offense is between and run and the pass....but how the defense has no idea which one it will be. Could be fun to watch.
Especially now that everyone and their mother is running the same offense these days.

This might be the most dynamic offense we have seen since 2015. Just comes down to offensive line play, which has been an issue for us the last few years.

The wing T I'm thinking about is very one dimensional and it can limit you in what you do offensively. And if you ever get behind on the scoreboard it becomes exponentially harder to come from behind. Maybe it's different what what Im understanding as a Wing T, but I'm skeptical on how good this offense can be. It's a big switch from what we've been doing for the last 20+ years.

Like Mavchamp said, this isn't the same Wing T that you are remembering from John Tyler back in the day. That WAS one dimensional and definately could get into trouble if you get behind by a couple of scores. But go look at youtube videos from when Alavares was in Ennis and last couple of years in Cuero. His version of the wing T can run and pass equally. He will take whatever the defense will give you. This isn't as drastic of a change as you're thinking. It's going to be versatile and exciting in my opinion.

We're not reinventing the wheel.....but everything I'm hearing about this offense is positive. I've talked to people at Ennis, Cuero, and even Round Rock and they all have been very positive about the system Coach A is bringing in. Just a matter of how quickly the guys catch on. But one dimensional.....we're not going to be. Mark it down.

This is going to be the most diverse offense we've ever seen. Going to be fun to watch.
