Was the marshall qb at the 7v7 in Tyler the same one that was yall's qb last season? Kid looked kind of rough. He was missing wide open receivers and making some really bad decisions on his throws and wasn't very accurate at all. If he struggles like that in 7v7 there's no way he will handle the pressure of 11 man ball. Maybe he was the back up, but he was terrible when he played us. I think he had a better game against Crandall. If he's the guy this season might be a long year for Marshall with no running game too. Based on what I saw Saturday I think Hville moves ahead of Marshall in the playoff chase. Tkn and whitehouse will battle for first then hville and then marshall. I wasn't impressed. Maybe he just had a bad day.

You mean the same QB that still managed to pass for almost 1,200 yards last year even though we were primarily a running team with TWO 1,000 yard rushers?
You men the same QB that managed to guide Marshall to finishing 2nd in the district race.... and was one possession from beating Texas High?
You mean the same QB that torched Whitehouse, Nac, PT last year in wins. And even though we lost to Hallsville and Texas High...he still managed over 200 yards passing in BOTH games?
You mean the same QB that went nuts in a playoff game last year Vs. Crandall..... was ONE POINT and only 1 yard away from advancing in said playoff?
If you DO mean him....... I'm not sure sleeping on him would be wise. Kid is TOUGH. Kid will have some WR's this year to make things tick.
JMHO....but overlooking him would be UNWISE.
