I guess since it's almost July and nothing has been announced and nothing has been started means any work on the stadium will wait till next year. That's kind of disappointed. When will they start working on the school from the bond?

I believe they said work at the school would begin this Fall
If and when stadium work comes it will likely be after the season starting in November or December would be my guess

But expect BIG news in the fall and headed into winter. Maverick Stadium will be spectacular when it's all said and done. |

We've been hearing about BIG news for the stadium for 2 years now and nothing. They haven't even officially announced the new locker room yet.
But we do need to do something about the dirty concrete needing to be power washed and the bleachers needing to be replaced. I think all of us are still holding out hope of some red stadium chairs.

SHOCKED!!! I an truly SHOCKED.... Not only that the previously announced improvements to Mavericks Stadium actually began before this
years season began, but even more surprising that the Marshall News Mess-Injure covered the story at all.
