The Panthers are off to a (2-0) start for the season and will have their biggest test thus far with AMC coming to town.

Not much to say about this game. A&M Consolidated (2-0) victors over Huntsville 23-12 and Monterey, Mexico 38-8, will be +7 favorites (DCTF) at Lufkin (2-0) who have won 31-7 over Tyler Legacy and 47-28 over Nacogdoches.
Hard to figure how good anyone is from who both have played, neither teams have played ranked programs. Last week DCTF had AMC ranked #29 and Lufkin #40 in 5A DI. Thus the +7 for AMC.
Got to play the game. I think Lufkin wins this game by at least 21.

So ya'll beat up on two really bad teams and now you think your going to beat a good team by 21? You are nuts. Consol is not Tyler Lee or Nac. Just cause you cruised over them doesn't mean you cruise this week. I take consol by 9.

Never mind. Lobos not exactly playing powerhouses either. Your a funny guy. Ha Ha Who has AMC played, oh yea, Huntsville and Monterrey, Mexico. We have no expectations, no one, including DCTF expects anything from Lufkin, we are picked for 5th place. The Lobos on the other hand have everything expected of them, they are the one's who can't slip up. We're not the one's worried about anything, we got nothing this year, at least that's what I'm hearing.

Lufkin will win this one at home. I wouldn't be surprised if it's competitive. AMC is a solid team and will come into ABE looking avenge their upset loss last year. I honestly don't think they match up well with us. Some teams are like that. I remember Lufkin would always struggle some against Magnolia in our old district. There was something about that matchup that would give us fits. Main thing for Lufkin is to not make it easy for them. It's the final rehearsal before district, so I want to see the team come out focused.
