The live feeds need a new camera. They are pixilated and grainy. Too bad no one at the radio station cares. Carthage is their baby.

GameDay does such a wonderful job with graphics, camera angles, and replays. KMHT really needs to step their game up or just hand it over for the good of the community.

Friday night I watched several streams while watching the Marshall stream. Jacksonville might have the best I've seen all season. Sharpest picture I've ever seen on a high school game. Lots of graphics and replays. Pine Tree has a good one too. So does Texas High and Longview. Lufkin too. Even Whitehouse. But then you go back to the kmht and the picture is pixilated it's dark it's definitely not high def like all the others. The graphics are bad and no replays. No clock. Sure wish someone could produce a better stream. I don't think kmht cares.

The video sucks. But Chase and Glenn are the best radio guys we've had since David Simpson and Jack Welch.

Chase and Glenn are great to listen to! Homers to be sure.... but it's hometown radio. It's suppose to be that way. I think they are more than fair.... compared to some I've heard.

After watching the Nac game, I don't think the camera is the only or main issue. Before kickoff, it seems to not be quite so grainy. It's definitely not the best camera, but it's not the main issue imo.
I think the chosen method of live broadcast and connectivity speeds may be causing some of the issues. Not sure why we can't use youtube like KGAS Carthage is doing. Not to mention GameDay, Wildcat Network, and Jacksonville ISD are using. I think this could solve a large portion of the issues.

I don't think KMHT cares. We are third fiddle to Carthage and Henderson. They both have better live feeds than Marshall.

It's definitely grainy and pixilated. The graphics were better a few years ago than they are now. They should go back to the way they had it. Maybe they need to swtich to youtube. But after seeing the feeds Jacksonville, Whitehouse, and Pine Tree have last Friday we are on the low end. Even Carthage and Henderson's are better. As bas as it is, I'm madder that misd stopped streaming the Thursday night games. Why did they stop?

KMHT could give us a top notch video deemed for very little money and not a lot of effort if they wanted to. It’s clear they do t have any intentions of making any changes. The graphics are worse than they were 2-3 years ago. No replay. No live commercials. They have gone for the easiest cheapest way to broadcast. We need a Gameday type of set up.

Maybe if enough people complain about the feed to KMHT it will get better. My company has approached the school several times in regards to video/streaming and providing a pre and post game show. And no one has responded. Very sad cause we provide the services you are asking deserving. |

that radio station don't give a crap about marshall football. Carthage is their bread and better and the only one they are worried about. The only way we will ever have a good broadcast is if the school district takes it over or they let someone like game time come in and take over. It's sad the video is so bad because the dudes that call the game are good.
