I saw the list of improvements being done at MHS in the newspaper today. All sounds good. But it looks like we are going to ignore Maverick Stadium this summer. No pressure washing of the stands, no new seating, no concessions improvements, no entrance improvements. I guess we are going to go back to ignoring the stadium. We literally have the worse stadium in the district besides Nacogdoches. Hopefully I'm wrong, but the list of things that need to get done at the stadium keeps growing, but we keep sitting on our hands.

Something is coming for Maverick Stadium. Something big.
Maybe not in time for the 2022 season....but soon.

I kept hearing we were going to get new bleachers or maybe stadium chairs. But that was a while ago. Kind of giving up hope. Doesn't seem to be a priority for the new coach, the school board, or the new superintendent. Haven't heard a peep about it. And the local rag is more interested in covering Hallsville anything than Marshall. SO we won't hear anything from them.
