We need this on the home side. At least for 2-3 sections. The whole home side would be even better. Whole stadium would be world class. Would make us a top playoff spot not just for football but for soccer and track as well. But a MAVS in each section with the Mav head in another.  |

School board meeting Thursday had no mention of more work at Maverick Stadium. We got all we going to get before the last superintendent left.

Where did all the talk about stadium seats come from? I haven't heard anything about it from anyone? Is this just small town rumor mill talk? Or is something actually being discussed? Id be happy with just new bleachers.

I was really disappointed that improving the seating wasn't discussed in the school board meeting. All the projects they are working on are needed. But they can't keep kicking the can down the road on the seating at Maverick Stadium. You can tell all those school board members and superintendents have cush spots in the press box. They don't seem too concerned with the state of those forty year old bleachers. I guess they are suppose to last forever.

I agree that red stadium chairs would be fantastic. And it would make Maverick Stadium one of the top playoff venues in the region..... BUT... it's not something that's necessary. It would just be NICE.
But yes.... some of the bleachers are in desperate need of being replaced.
